Thinking Thesis

In beginning (and hopefully finishing) the brunt of my thesis writing, I thought I'd toast myself with a commemmorating wordle. This particular wordle is comprised of my first seven pages.

Looking forward to the completion of 60 pages and six days of my life. Ten pages a day can't be so bad, right?

...Right?

Cheers to writing again.

Well.. you might want to tell that to the millions of individuals who depend on coffee for a livelihood. It might make a difference to them. Most of us drink coffee every day without thinking about it.

If you don't understand how coffee is produced, and that price should be based on quality rather than quantity... how would you ever make an educated decision about what you drink?

But it is that educated decision that might end up making a difference to the farmer, or the roaster, or the person sitting in a coffee shop, writing. That's the point.

Of course there are other things happening in the world. My work isn't to discount, or discredit them. But there is more of a global value to what I am writing than you might perceive.

I doubt it.

Bigger things. Not to discount how those farmers feed their families. That's honorable. But what we drink and making an educated decision? Who cares.
